Out of the Blue (1980) is a powerful and uncompromising drama directed by and starring Dennis Hopper. Linda Manz delivers a remarkable performance as troubled teenager Cebe, years before appearing as Solomon's mother in Gummo. Raw, emotional, and deeply unsettling, it's a cult classic that deserves its reputation, and this Severin DVD is an excellent release for fans of independent cinema.
