Bad Taste – DVD
Peter Jackson’s gloriously outrageous 1987 debut is a low-budget splatter classic that sees aliens invade a sleepy New Zealand town to harvest humans for an intergalactic fast-food operation. Packed with homemade gore, bizarre humour and chaotic action, it’s a brilliant example of the DIY filmmaking that would become Jackson’s trademark.
This Region 2 DVD includes Making Of, trailers and scene selection, with the case listing a 98-minute feature, English Dolby Digital 2.0 and Dutch subtitles. A great cult DVD for fans of Jackson’s early work and outrageous 1980s horror.
